Servant Leadership Community of Practice

May 28 @ 11:30 am - 12:30 pm

Free

This month’s topic: Leading Transition

Very early in his life Robert Greenleaf heeded the advice of a college professor to “create change from inside a large institution,” and he accomplished just that during his decades of work with AT&T.

So often we resign to responding to change and fail to recognize that as leaders we have both the influence, power, and opportunity to create the transition and change we wish to see in the world, not simply react to it.

Using Dr. Henry Cloud’s, “Necessary Endings” as a resource, we’ll discuss:

  1. Identifying where endings and “pruning” are critical in our leadership.
  2. Adopting intentional change mindsets and roles.
  3. Practicing foresight to help change become less daunting.

This session will be facilitated by Matt Kosec, Principal Consultant at Matthew Kosec Consulting, LLC.

About this Conversation

Servant Leadership Community of Practice is a fully virtual offering for learning about your individual servant leadership strengths and learning new practices through small group discussion, facilitated conversations, and personal reflection. This event occurs on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. CST via Zoom.

Program Overview

Community of Practice sessions are amazing opportunities for any and all leaders to gather and learn from each other. Through these monthly sessions, attendees build, share, and learn from others as a community of transformative leaders. It’s highly interactive and each month a different servant leadership topic is explored. Learn more about the Community of Practice program here!
